Santiago is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer in our Decision Sciences practice. Through his 5+ years in consulting, he has developed a strong background in Machine Learning. He is very skilled in MLOPs, distributed computation, and data processing, and he also has a solid foundation in software development. Proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, adept at writing clean code using design patterns and ensuring a well versioning of code, data, and models across all projects
 
Experienced in the entire Machine Learning process, including data pipelines, modeling, deployment, model monitoring, and CI/CD implementations
 
Before his current role at Aimpoint Digital, Santiago served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Factored AI, where he developed projects related to modeling and deploying computer vision and NLP models for companies in the logistics and telecommunications sector. He was also involved in the design of robust pipelines for big data in batches and in real-time, many of them in the Databricks ecosystem and others using open-source tools
