Marcel Kore

Marcel is a Principal Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Data Visualization, Analytics & Cloud Data Engineering. Marcel concentrates on cloud data platforms and will be guiding customers through their cloud journeys with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, and DBT. In addition, he brings proficiency in Python, SQL, SSIS, Hevo, and Airflow, among other tools that build reliable end-to-end data pipelines.

Before joining Aimpoint Digital, Marcel worked as a Data Engineer at Clinical Ink. He created a framework for automating customer data deliveries and helped build a new data warehouse solution using Snowflake. Before that, he was a Principal Data Analyst at Clario, where he helped implement a data platform with Snowflake at its core and Tableau as the reporting solution. He leverages his business background in his development work and takes tremendous pride in bridging the gaps between business and engineering. Marcel earned his Bachelor of Science at the City University of New York and a Master’s in Big Data & Analytics from the University of Liverpool.

In his spare time, he enjoys watching his favorite team, Manchester United drawing with other teams and taking long walks with his family. Born and raised in Kenya, Marcel strongly advocates creating opportunities within the African diaspora, focusing on youth mentorship and education through organized athletics.
