Manuel Casado has over five years of experience in the intersection of data engineering, data science, machine learning, and operations research. He specializes in designing and deploying end-to-end data pipelines, scalable ETL workflows, and advanced machine learning solutions to drive business value. With extensive expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, Manuel has contributed to projects that enable companies to make their data actionable, deliver impactful insights, and optimize decision-making processes.

Before joining Aimpoint Digital, Manuel worked as a Data Scientist at Comware, where he developed scalable ETL pipelines and implemented Speech and Text Analytics models, leveraging cutting-edge tools to reduce costs in customer support processes. Previously, as a Business Analyst and Tech Lead, Manuel led efforts to build data infrastructures, automate workflows, and deploy APIs and machine learning models to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making.

Manuel holds a Master of Science (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. He also has multiple certifications in data engineering, including the dbt Fundamentals Badge, Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals, and the Data Engineering Professional Certificate from DeepLearning.AI.

In his free time, Manuel enjoys learning about emerging technologies, spending time with his girlfriend, and staying active at the gym.
