Dylan Ford

Dylan is our Databricks Practice Lead with 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and 10+ years leading Data Quality Assurance projects. Dylan has a thorough background in Databricks and Snowflake, with experience facilitating all aspects of implementation, administration, and builds. He also brings proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, AWS, Kubernetes, Matillion, Airflow, dbt, and many other tools and languages to build reliable end-to-end data pipelines.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Dylan was a key member in implementing Databricks as part of the Data Services team at Disney Studio Technology, supporting many data science, film production, and marketing analytics teams with all their data needs. His Data Quality background started in the early 2000s working on Data Warehouse and Risk Management projects for the major banks in Australia in both hands-on and management roles. Dyan graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of South Australia. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his three children (and many pets), traveling, keeping fit, and gaming when time permits.

Fun fact: Dylan recently moved from Australia to Orlando, FL, and is loving the heat and exploring all the US has to offer.
