Alaisha is a Data Engineer at Aimpoint Digital passionate about learning and leveraging her skills to find creative solutions and insights.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Alaisha was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford University, where she completed her MS in Mechanical Engineering. Her research was focused on tracking and predicting objects, passing maneuvers, and integrating perception data into motion planning for autonomous vehicles. Alaisha earned her BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Mechanical Engineering.

Alaisha is a frequent volunteer and believes in contributing to every community she is a part of. She has served at every level of student leadership within the National Society of Black Engineers. She believes strongly in their mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

In her free time, Alaisha loves to bake, read, paint, and listen to (and loudly sing along with) musical theater soundtracks and pop songs from the 2000s.

Fun fact: Alaisha owns and frequently rides a 2000 Honda Shadow motorcycle.
