Why we picked it: dbt is one of our favorite transformation solutions here at Aimpoint Digital. Last year dbt Labs released “dbt mesh” – an implementation of data mesh principles in their dbt Cloud platform. The principles of data mesh extend further than just the transformation layer, though, so we are interested to hear about the Snowflake features, guidelines and best practices that power dbt and data mesh in this talk.
